Injectors Mod. kit 1 x GSI inj. -> 1 x 2.25 GFI injectors (1 injector)

Details

Kit with 1 injector to change from the old GSI injectors to the GFI injectors. The GSI injectors were used on the Necam/Koltec/AG LPG installations OEM at Subaru and Deawoo/Chevrolet.

• 2.25 GFI is the version you need also for Opel/Vauxhall Astra 1.4, year 2008 (running with a Necam-Koltec GSI system)
• Replacement for Necam injectors 242000-003-3

Is a change is software needed?

If you change 1 or 2 injectors, from our experience, it works without any software change.

If you change 3 or all injectors, you should change the software in LPG ECU. We have calibrations for the GFI injectors for Opel, Subaru and Deawoo. But you need the software to be able to install it. The software itself is not available anymore for sale. You need a special key which is not produced anymore. If you come with the car to our workshop in Eeklo, we can do the sofware modification for you.

What happens if you do not change the software (with 3 or all injectors modified to GFI injectors)?

In our experience: If you do not change the software in the LPG ECU, the car runs fine when you drive, but with some cars the engine stops on idle (e.g. at red light).
